dadhi + chattram + ca

sas + chinatti
→ sa + chinatti by etattadoss...
→ !**sacchinatti "he cuts", by this rule.
How should I spell **sacchinatti ? Do I type a space after the a , after the c , or no space at all?
Spell it however you like. /pANini tells us that the c is padafinal, but no /pANini rule ever said that you can write spaces only after padafinal letters.
sacchinatti सच्छिनत्ति
sac chinatti सच्छिनत्ति
sa cchinatti स च्छिनत्ति
Just make sure to NOT read aloud a pause where the space is. When making a pause between the two words, this rule does not work, because it is under < saMhitAyAm, so we must say
saH सः (pause) chinatti छिनत्ति,
and write
saH | chinatti सः । छिनत्ति,
with no cch च्छ्.
