a-zAstra-vihitam = prescribed, enjoined, appointed, formed (vi dhA); accomplished, done

a-zAstra-vihitaM ghoram = horrible, fearsome, terrible

a-zAstra-vihitaM ghoraM tapyante = they practice austerities

a-zAstra-vihitaM ghoraM tapyante ye = the ones that

Those people who practise severe ascetic austerities not ordained by the scriptures,

dambha- = deceit, fraud, hypocrisy

dambh'-ahaMkAra- = sense of identity, I-ness

dambh'-.AhaMkAra-saMyuktAH kAma-rAga- = liking, pleasure, addiction
