/anekAc / अनेकाच्

An /anekAc is anything that has two or more vowels.

Similarly, the anekAl अनेकाल् word in anekAlzits... means "what does not have one /al".

Shouldn't aneka- अनेकॱ + /ac mean "what has many vowels"? The word aneka- अनेकॱ means "many" in everyday Sanskrit.

The word that /pANini uses is not aneka- अनेकॱ +/ac "what has many vowels", but an अन् + /ekAc "what is not an /ekAc" — so, "what has two or more vowels". When /pANini means "three or more", he says **bahu- बहुॱ.
