/api / अपि

The word /api means "too" or "even" —

yady apy ete na pazyanti यद्यप्येते न पश्यन्ति "even if these don't see"

It is an enclitic.

There is also a non-enclitic api अपि that can start a question:

apy avagacchasi अप्यवगच्छसि "capito?"

like Polish czy in sentences like Czy Basia ma kota? "Does Basia have a cat?".
