The sUtras are often compared to a computer program, because parts of them do behave in a mechanical way which is highly reminiscent of modern computer coding.
Yet this analogy must not be carriedtoo far, beacsue manyfeatures of the sUtras are very uncomputerlike.
As for instance, some sUtras use lookahead conditions of the style "unless this and that would happen later by other rules".
