These tables enable you to find quickly the /sandhi sound changes and the rules that make them.
Example. Suppose you want to join **azvas + **dravati . As azvas ends in a consonant, you need to click the padafinal consonant link below. That gets you to a page where you can find "as before haz" (the d is a /haz letter). Click the link in there (as-hz link) and it will tell you that you have to replace as + a with o . It will as well give links to the several rules that make that change.
The sandhi tables are somewhat inaccurate because they do not give all possibilities, just the most common ones. As for instance they will tell you to replace n + z with Jz . But if you follow the links to the rules, you will see that the rules allow Jch and Jcch as well.
