We can say —
adhistri kathA अधिस्त्रि कथा "a story about women"
because /adhi has the sense of "about", that could have been given with the seventh case ending (strISu kathA)
upakumbham उपकुम्भम् "near the jar"
sumadraM vartate सुमद्रं वर्तते "Things are going well for the Madras."
duryavanaM vartate दुर्यवनं वर्तते "Things are going badly for the Yavanas."
nir-mazakam निर्मशकम् "mosquito-free"
nirhimam निर्हिमम् "at the end of the cold season"

vaiSNava-gRhe iti-hari vartate वैष्णवॱगृहे इतिॱहरि वर्तते "In the house of the Vaishnava there's Hari Hari all day"
anuratham pAdAtam अनुरथं पादातम् the infantry (that) follows the chariots
