/jhay / झय्

The /jhay or stops are the twenty stop consonants. In alphabetical order they are —

k क् kh ख् g ग् gh घ्
c च् ch छ् j ज् jh झ्
T ट् Th ठ् D ड् Dh ढ्
t त् th थ् d द् dh ध्
p प् ph फ् b ब् bh भ्

and they appear in the /zivasUtra as —

ka pay

Of these, the /jhaz are the voiced stops, and the /khay are the unvoiced stops.

A stop is a consonant that stops completely the flux of air (qq(see wikipedia on Stop_consonant)).
