A word with third ending may compound before /kRtya words when exaggerating.

The resulting compound will be a /tatpuruSa.

So we may compound the phrase caTakayA bhaGgyaH चटकया भङ्ग्यः "breakable by a sparrow" like this:

ayaM setuz caTakA-bhaGgyaH
अयं सेतुश्चटकाॱभङ्ग्यः

"this dam is sparrow-breakable",
"this damn dam will crumble down if a sparrow alights on it"

That's just an exaggeration meaning that it looks bad.

And from kAkena peyA काकेन पेया "drinkable by a crow":

kAka-peyA nadI
काकॱपेया नदी

"the river is crow-drinkable",
"a crow might drink from this river while standing on the river-bottom".

This is an exaggeration meaning "we can ford this river" usw.

If the alighting and the drink-while-standing are meant literally, the compounding is forbidden:

lUtA-jAlaJ caTakayA bhaGgyam
लूताॱजालं चटकया भङ्ग्यम्

"a sparrow might break the spiderweb"

kAkena peyA nadI
काकेन पेया नदी

"the river is drinkable by a crow",
"a crow could LITERALLY stand on the middle of the river and drink",
"there's just an inch of water here".
