deriv LSK ETT STT aSTA ALPH OLDHOMEPAGE NEWHOMEPAGE
Some people, when they chant reading aloud from a piece of paper, pronounce as a hum everything that is spelled as M ं, regardless of which consonant comes next. They do that when reading non-vedic holy verses, like the bhagavadgItA भगवद्गीता.
Doing that is at odds with the common modern pronunciation of the anusvAra.
Doing that is okay according to /pANini, by rule vApadAntasya (if the paper is spelled correctly, that is).
But, don't you that yourself. Prayers spelled correcty are hard to find.
