The /jhi will most often become /anti''', but not always.

Examples:

/car + /laT /tip → **carati चरति "walks"

/car + /laT /tas → **caratas चरतस् "they2 walk"

/car + /laT /jhi → /car + /anti''' → !**caranti चरन्ति "they walk"

In this case /jhi becomes /ati''' —

**jahA- जहाॱ + /tip → **jahAti जहाति "quits"

**jahA- जहाॱ + /jhi → **jahati जहति "they quit"
