The first endings used when addressing or calling are called /Amantrita ("calling", vocative).
Those endings are /su /au /jas.
When calling two or more people, the first endings /au and /jas always behave like normal first endings, see:
he rAjAnaH हे राजानः "hey kings"
tiSThanti rAjAnaH तिष्ठन्ति राजानः "kings stand"
he rAjAnau हे राजानौ "hey 2kings"
tiSThato rAjAnau तिष्ठतो राजानौ "2kings stand"
However, that's not true for the singular ending, /su. See ekavacan... >.
