/adhikAra, valid until the end of the chapter, sadeHparasy.... All of them replace s स् with S ष्.

So, when rule sadiraprateH 9> says "replace sadi सदि ", we must understand "replace sadi सदि with Sadi षदि, but only when after /ku, r र्, or an /ic vowel".

The original sUtra says "after /iN", not "after /ic or r र्". Why doesn't your translation mention that the change should happen after h ह् y य् v व् l ल् too?
