deriv LSK ETT STT aSTA ALPH OLDHOMEPAGE NEWHOMEPAGE
An /Agama (augment) is a "satellite" affix that is prefixed, infixed or suffixed to a root, a nounbase, another affix, or sometimes just to a letter.
The augments become a part of whatever they attach to.
Example. /Ge is a /Git /sup affix. When ANnadyAH attaches /AT to /Ge, rule ATazca replaces /AT + /Ge with ai ऐ. This ai ऐ is still a single affix, still a /sup, and still a /Git.
The augments come in three flavours:
Titaugments (like /AT) attach in front of whatever they attach to,
kitaugments (like /tuk) attach at the end,
and mitaugments (like /num) attach after the last vowel.
