@ktvA sentence with different subjects same doer

Rule samAnakart... will replace the tense of the verb meaning previous action with /ktvA when both actions have the same doer.

It is okay if one of them is doershowing and the other is not, as long as they have the same doer

Example.

The sentence grAmam Agamya pacyata:: odana:: Azvapatena ग्राममागम्य पच्यत‌ ओदन‌ आश्वपतेन can never mean "rice comes to the village and is cooked by Azvapata आश्वपत". That sentence is actually formed like this —

grAmam Agacchaty AzvapataH ग्राममागच्छत्याश्वपतः "Azvapata comes to the village"
+ odanam Azvapatena pacyate ओदनमाश्वपतेन पच्यते "Azvapata cooks rice"
= grAmam Agamya pacyata:: odana:: Azvapatena ग्राममागम्य पच्यत‌ ओदन‌ आश्वपतेन "Azvapata comes to the village and then cooks rice"

Inthe last sentence, the rice cannot be the doer of **Agamya आगम्य, because it is the object of pacyate पच्यते. The doer of !**Agamya आगम्य must necessarily be Azvapata आश्वपत because he is the doer of **pacyate पच्यते.

vanAd grAmam Agamyaudana:: AzvapatenApAci वनाद्ग्राममागम्यौदन‌ आश्वपतेनापाचि

this necessarily means "Azvapata आश्वपत came to the village from the forest and cooked rice", because the first sentence has Agacchat आगच्छत् with doer Azvapata- आश्वपतॱ, and the second sentence has apAci अपाचि with doer Azvapata- आश्वपतॱ too. It cannot mean "the rice came from the forest to the village and was cooked by Azvapata आश्वपत" because in that case odanaH ओदनः would be the doer of the first sentence and the object of the second.
