A doershowing tense shows the object, namely, it is replaced by a /tiG that has the same number and person as the doer of the root.

doershowing tenses may be replaced either with /Atmanepada or /parasmaipada, depending usually on which root it is.

Example. When the tense /laT is doershowing, rule kartarizap adds /zap after the root —

nI नी + doershowing /laT → nI नी + /zap + /laT → **nayati नयति "leads"

dRz दृश् + doershowing /laT → dRz दृश् + /zap + /laT → **pazyati पश्यति "sees"
