@strong noun endings

noun affixes (that is, the /taddhita and the /sup) are either strong or weak.

Whatever noun affix is not strong, is weak.

All /taddhita are always weak.

All /sup are always weak except maybe /su /au /jas /am /zas.

Examples —

After rAjan- राजन् (a m base), /su /au /am /jas are strong, anything else is weak.

After nAman- नामन् (a n base), /zi is strong, anything else is weak.

Is the /sambuddhi strong?

It replaces /su, so it is strong only when /su is strong. See sthAnivadAd....
