These can only be used after objectless roots. That is allowed by laHkarmaNic....

Such a tense is always replaced with /ta, regardless of the doer.

If the doer is expressed in the same sentence, it gets third by kartRkaraN....

→ As आस् + /yak + /ta
→ As आस् + /yak + te ते by Tita::Atman...
