Because of ksasyAci, the three endings /AthAm /AtAm /iT' erase the a अ of the /ksa (see zala::igup...).
**adikSAthAm अदिक्षाथाम् "you'' pointed (bent)"
**adikSAtAm अदिक्षाताम् "they2 pointed (bent)"
**adikSi अदिक्षि "I pointed (bent)"
Uh? wouldn't akassa अकःस make adikSa + AthAm into adikSAthAm अदिक्षाथाम्?
No. As the a अ is not erased, AtoGitaH turns A आ of the /luG into iy इय्.
How come that /AtAm and /AthAm are /Git? Didn't you say (in page Why Gic ca) that replacements of /luG tenses do not inherit the /Git of the tense?
/AtAm doesn't inherit its /Git from /luG, it comes from sArvadhAtuk....
Do'h!
