IDK. kartarizap says they should, but it does not matter if they get /zap or nothing, because a /zap after a root ending in sa would just fuse with the a by atoguNe, without causing gbH. So we'd still get forms like **jigISati जिगीषति from ji जि and juhUSati जुहूषति from hu हु and cikISate चिकीषते from ci चि.
