Replace R ऋ (with ar अर्) before /Gi and strong endings.
Example before /Gi —
**mAtR- मातृॱ f + /Gi → !**mAtari मातरि
**pitR- पितृॱ m + /Gi → !**pitari पितरि
Examples before strong /am /au /jas —
pitR- पितृॱ + /am
→ pitar- पितर् + /am by this rule
→ !**pitaram पितरम् " o father"
pitR- पितृॱ + /au
→ pitar- पितर् + /au by this rule
→ !**pitarau पितरौ "two fathers" or "parents"
pitR- पितृॱ + /jas
→ pitar- पितर् + /jas
→ !**pitaras पितरस् " s fathers"
**kartR- कर्तृॱ + /am
→ kartar कर्तर् + /am
→ !**kartAram कर्तारम् by aptRntRcsvas...
**kartR- कर्तृॱ + /au
→ kartar कर्तर् + /au
→ !**kartArau कर्तारौ
Sometimes the ar अर् gets lengthened by aptRntRcsvas... —
**svasR- स्वसृॱ f + /am
→ svasaram स्वसरम् by this rule
→ !**svasAram स्वसारम् by aptRntRcsvas...
Won't this rule work on /su ?
Only before the /sambuddhi /su —
pitR- पितृॱ + /sambuddhi
→ pitar पितर् + s स् by this rule
→ pitar पितर् "hi dad" by halGyAbbhyodIrgh...
Because before normal /su, Rduzanasp... takes over —
pitR पितृ + /su → **pitA पिता by Rduzanasp...
You didn't show any examples with /jas zas after a neuter, might you please show some?
There shouldn't be any. After a neuter R ऋ-ender, rule napuMsakasy... should add /num, debarring RtoGi ऋतोङि, and then sarvanAmasth... lengthens R ऋ into RR ॠ, and then we apply /Natvam, getting RRNi ॠणि.
But that's a /pUrvavipratiSedha! There's no reason for 71072 napuMsakasy... to overpower 73110 RtoGi ऋतोङि.
Hm. Maybe you are right. I'm not sure, really. Sorry. Well, if your view is right, then you first replace R ऋ with ar अर्. Then the r र्, as it is funny, prevents napuMsakasy... so just add the /zi, and apply aptRntRcsvas... if need be, finally getting ari अरि or Ari आरि.
That verbiage is confusing. Why didn't you show word examples for the last two questions, as you usually do?
Oopsie. Because I failed to find in the wild a neuter R ऋ-ender nounbase that can reasonably be plural. Working on it.
